I found a Bastard Sword at the Barricade in Rock Trolls near Kaerna and I picked it up and used it. I was impressed. It was store bought, I didn't see a forger's mark when I appraised it. Oh yeah, whoseever it is, lost today early in the morning EST, come find Volsa, I'll give it back.
What would be the stats on a forged bastie: from just better than store-bought to forged by an expert weaponsmith?

There are many ranges it could be. I am not sure exactly what you meant, but if you appraise it you don't see the mark. If you LOOK at it you will see the mark if there is one. Also, not all forgers have marks and not all forgers with marks use them on all weapons. Anyway, just letting you know you should look at it to see if there is a mark.

You could also have someone with enough experience in the forge ANALYZE it.
There are some forged blades that can't be analyzed too, however.

That is actually the minimum weight you can get a forged sword. It is definately forged.

Well if it can't be forged less now, then that means it is the minimum forgable weight. It was 26 stones before I believe.

They were 26 after the first couple tweaks before that I remeber seeing them 18-20 stones or something close to there with fair slice.I sold a old flail a while back that was 25 stones ,so ya can see what ya could do long time ago
