I bought the sword appraised below in muspari as a throw away for invasions. I was pleasantly surprised how hard it hit compared to my bastard sword. Whats the best longsword able to be made with normal metals, where and how much? Can it be forged with Heavy slice and fair impact without loosing reasonable suited? can it be forged low/me/fair well suited? Thanks.
A dragon-pommeled longsword inlaid with silver veins is a heavy edged type weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
low puncture damage
moderate slice damage
fair impact damage
You are certain that the longsword is poorly balanced and is reasonably suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the dragon-pommeled longsword is fairly sturdy, and is in pristine condition.
The dragon-pommeled longsword is made with metal.
You estimate that the dragon-pommeled longsword weighs around 25 stones.
You are certain that the dragon-pommeled longsword is worth exactly 8010 lirums.
Roundtime: 8 seconds.

not sure about longswords per se but you can definitly get a broadsword with those type of stats:
A broadsword is a heavy edged type weapon.
You are certain that it could do:
low puncture damage
heavy slice damage
fair impact damage
You are certain that the broadsword is fairly balanced and is reasonably suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.
You are certain that the broadsword is moderately strong, and is in pristine condition.
The broadsword is made with metal.
You believe that the broadsword weighs around 30 stones.
You are certain that the broadsword is worth exactly 460 lirums.

A giant skeletal claw rises rapidly from the mire, lurching outward to grasp at you! You dodge lithely aside!

I asked a lot of questions back in the day, for the longsword, with the right weight, you can get p/h/m f/r
Problem with longswords is that their properties seem a little whack. To the point of being worthless unless you have some crazy strength to weild them. I believe starting in the weight of 40+ they actually become worth using.
Honestly, I would just stick with broadswords.

I like longswords more than broadswords starting around 40 stones.
