Weapon replacement on 03/22/2005 12:54 AM CST

Just lost my 21 stone broadsword that someone gave me and i need some advice for a replacement. Meaning there no way i could afford another broadsword like that cause im still wet behind the ears...oh and poor.

If you want light, the elven longsword in Riverhaven is your best bet.

If you don't mind roundtime, I'd go with a battle axe from reavers.

Well i just recieved a 35 stone broadsword...so should i get an elven longsword instead and whats the specs on the axe from reavers?

What's your strength/agility? We can see if the 7-stone difference'd be enough to change your RT. Generally, speed is more important than power.

The current axe from reavers is a regular Crossing battle axe (none/mod/mod dismal/reasonable moderate 46-stones). Did they used to be different?

The battle axe I was using is 60 stones. Mayhaps I got it forged awhile back and don't remember. In which case, forget that option, go with the elven longsword.

Oh my strength is 16 and agility is 14. hope that helps.

If you like the broadsword, use the broadsword. The longsword won't be any faster until you have an effective strength of 19 with it (average your strength and agility).
