With the recent combat changes, unless the critter you are fighting is slice-resistant, go with a slicer. Jabbers really came out less than Slicers after the combat changes.

It's also the same as a cinqueda. I actually find that I kill faster with a cinq, but I use lunge a lot more than I should.
