I'm an LE Primary and am planning my training for the next dozen circles. I was wondering if anyone has experimented with the effects of high strength or agility on LE damage/effectiveness. Currently my STR ang AGIL are equal.

I recall someone a couple of years ago posting that pushing agility into the 40s at 19th circle did wonders for his LE effectiveness, but I'm not sure if that was verified or if it was affected by the combat changes.

Anyone have some data?

If the weapon is more strength suited than it is agility suited, raise strength. The reverse is true as well.

As most LE weapons are much more balanced than suited to strength, this doesn't seem any big mystery. Higher agility will increase your effectiveness more than higher strength, since at the moment agility affects your accuracy and your damage. Ssra doesn't like that aspect of the calculations, though, so it could change someday. <shrug> Let the TDP-spender beware.

LE users plan on swapping some STR tdp's for AGL tdp's, thinking with + AGL you will get big + TO HIT. Here in lies the conundrum.

A balanced LE might utilize your abilites more.
-but-
A suited LE does more damage.

I engorged agility to attempt a shortcut at effectivness. I found weapon stats and ranks are overly dominaint factors to damage. Getting 50 agil wont make you a supper hero, focus on ranks.

PMFDW katars work best for me, no balanced dominient weapon has compared in quickness and number of kills(include sun blade, tago, stelleto, leafe blade, oben, short sword, ice pick, and the new jaymbai thing). After comming to this realization, i disscontinued it. Alot of changes are rumored, so will see how things play out.

Thank you, that was the comprehensive info I was looking for.

The moral seems to be, continue to raise stats more or less evenly, as you get the most bang for your TDPs.

P.S. my favored LE is fairly balanced, fairly suited.
