If money wasn't a problem, and it looked like someone would end up with 15 strength and 30 or so agility, what type of medium edge would suit him best? What weight? A poker or a slicer? Any thoughts are welcome. Speakin about what I can get forged up.

Avoid pokers. The penalty associated with piercing manuevers outside of Backstab is too atrocious to bother with.
A slicer would be best in any case unless you're backstabbing. Really, even with low strength the heavy slice damage of capped scimitars is very appealing. If you can manage to keep your encumberance down, with great agility you'll still be getting very low RTs on a medium edge.
If 41 stones (I believe this is a capped slice scimitar) is too heavy, look instead for as much slice damage as possible with as much balance. Balances modifies the agility calc when determing both round-time and damage, suitability the same for strength, so suitability will not matter as much in your case.

I have a barbarian with 16 strength and 33 agility. I use a mod slice, reas balanced, 18 stone scimitar and I am pretty happy with the way he fights. If I was hunting with something with thick armor I might try grabbing something a bit heavier, but stuff with light or no armor I'm content with that weapon.
If expense isn't an issue, then I suggest a light great slice scimitar. I assume you can get them at 18 stones.

<<If you can't get a scimitar at 18 stones without special metals, it seems odd that I have a 21 stone broadsword which I can almost swear is made from normal things.
The best 18 stone scimitar you can get without special metals is mod slice, not great slice. Revisit what was posted.
