I am back after a long break and looking for a hunting ground where I can move both my weapons and my stealth. Tried small peccs and the middle-tier deers but cant hide on any of them.

Welcome back!

I agree that black leucros is about the best place for you right now, unless you want boxes too.

Leucros hit too hard at those ranks for my taste.

I prefer bloodvines since they swarm and don't do a great deal of damage. They throw thorns at you which can poison, but overall they seem to be one of the best creatures in the game. It can be tough to find an empath when you need one though so bring gweths.

As far as stealth goes, I wear HC/LC/Leather and can't hide in leucros with about 160 hiding, but I haven't tried a full leather set up there. I can hide in bloodvines in full leather at missile range.

Barely- But I wouldn't count on them, especially considering how they morph into the night variety- which is much tougher.

In my experience, they teach similar and hit as hard as leucros, but swarm less and are easier to hide on.

The day/night thing is troublesome though unless you're a part-time hunter.
