Howdy everyone!

This folder has been a bit slow lately and despite having numerous old players returning to Plat, we've not seen too many new faces since the Holidays. I thought now might be a good time to answer any questions folks have regarding the Platinum instance - as well as get peoples' ideas and suggestions for how the instance could be made better.

For those of you that didn't know, Plat has one helluva events team running full throttle. Several large scale conflicts are underway that are challenging us with invasions, GMNPC battles and enemy barricade/unit charges almost nightly. Oh yes, and in Plat the GMNPCs are routinely killed and even walked from time to time! With the smaller circle span you'll see everything from goblin shaman circle GMNPCs/invasions for the young folks, to circle 70+ villains and deranged gnomes creating havoc.

For those folks not interested in combat there are plenty of alterers, merchants, raffles and just day to day silliness to get yourself lost in. The events team has worked very hard to keep a good mix of events - AND to take suggestions at any time for what the players want to see done. My schedule has prevented me from adding the latest round of event updates to the drplat site this month, but a quick glance can tell you just how much stuff has been going on as of late.

Not many people are aware of this, but in Plat we often help the GMs test new systems, quests, critters and more! Playing in Plat also makes you eligibile for joining ALAE - and with the pending system upgrades its going to get a whole lot better. I know they are always looking for creatively minded individuals to help develop new areas for the game as a whole.

Is the critter guide on your website gone forever or is it just in maintance or what have you? I love that thing..depend on it actually...please please make it work?
