Has anyone tested whether mech lore is trainable on Test? If so, what applications still teach it?

I can't test it until I split up my ranks and get a lower mech lore skill (but I want to wait on splitting until the conversion issues get resolved)

My braiding script worked fine, and still trained mech in Test. It seems everything that trains mech in Prime still trains in Test. Think this will change post official mech-split though.

Platside 3.0 most of the things <origami, lockpick carving, cleric beadmaking, etc.> still teaches mech, and will continue to teach it until they put in enchanting and alchemy. <Notable exception - you can't make CJs or divination bones because of the change to that system- so can't get mech that way>.

The only things that don't still teach mech are the crafting skills already out <forging, engineering, outfitting>. Unfortunately, some of those aren't fully "out there" - tinkering, artistry, etc - so waiting for those you're sort of between a rock and a hard place, because only stone-crafting is out, so if you're a thief and shift your mech into engineering, you can't get any tinkering techs yet, so you won't be carving lockpicks.

Plat-side, mech still trains via braiding, origami, etc... A lot of skills will still need to check mech until all the crafting disciplines are released, so I'd imagine mech will be directly trainable for some time.
