So, I went and tested in Forest Geni. This is what I hunt currently in Prime. Without Substratum up, I had a really hard time hitting them. I tried CL, LB, and finally GZ. I added pathway focus accuracy, and still had a really hard time hitting them. 288 TM, relevant stats at 34.

I didn't spend a lot of time there, as I was trying to test Elemental Charge usage and was taking too much damage because I wasn't killing them. I'll try again with more accurate spells (I assume ALA is still an extremely accurate spell), but my initial impression is that I can kill them much easier with a scimitar ~20 ranks less in Small Edged. This is disappointing.
