there are mechanics in place to aide a grave robbed victim...

first: don't depart in a place you can't get help.
second: use <search (person)> to get your items back
third: if 2 doesn't work get aide from a paladin, empath, ranger, war mage, ect. to knock said person's lights out than <search (person)> or <search (person) (item)>
fourth: if person is hiding in a guild only area or safe room or passed off the items I believe that can be considered mechanics abuse.

Non locate rooms (guild only rooms and some others) arent mechanics abuse. You get spirit drain while youre there, so you COULD end up dying from it.

I was taking a walk in the park when this post said I stole its purse. I tried to get away, but it just kept on coming. So I had to beat it to death with this purse I found.

walking into a guild only area is mech abuse...

go in, drop said item (or pack with items), guard said item.

I've seen GM's get involved in such instances.

Yes but young people don't exactly know these things and the GM's GH's dealing with the situation aren't very forthright with the informtion.

Ah...I didnt even think about dropping it. That sounds very much like mech abuse.

What about going out and dying without the spirit drain so the items get marked as your grave items? Or did the GMs fix that yet?
