Having arrived <finally>, in one piece, having seen construction of this nature before- in the land of my home in Muspar'i, i figured there was work to be done.

So, i stand here, stone block in hand, not really knowing what to do...with nobody in sight and the shops all closed...

OOC:

[Fang Cove, Walkway]
Sweet aromas drift from the two-story building that dominates the area near the cove's pier. A decorative pole holds a dragon-shaped lantern, its bright flame diligently flickering into the night. Groups of inhabitants gather around white wicker chairs and tables beneath the illumination to talk of the day's happenings in the small community while others go inside for more comfortable arrangements. You also see a pallet of metal rods, some construction, a building and a grass and bamboo hut.
Obvious paths: east, west.

>tap pallet
I could not find what you were referring to.
>tap rods
You tap a pallet of metal rods on the ground.
>look rods
You see nothing unusual.
>study rods
>
You take on a studious look.
>get rod
You take a large stone block from a pallet of metal rods.
>look construction
The construction appears to be barely started.
>study construction
You take on a studious look.
>tap my block
You tap a large stone block that you are holding.
>put block on construction
You can't put that there!
>build construction
Please rephrase that command.
>study my block
You take on a studious look.

There was an issue with the initial materials out -- the pallet of rods magically gave you a stone block. That has been fixed in Prime/Plat/TF. The clay, when it comes up, will be a bucket rather than 'clay', but that's intentional and the messaging should cover it.

I've always enjoyed using this system, so we'll definitely keep seeing it into the future. What options open up with X3, though, remains to be seen.

...heh. Wish I'd been more awake when putting this together last night. ;) There's plenty more to be built, they may show up still.

Picture a Tog with half a coconut perched on top of a shiny scalp, like a gorilla wearing a fez.

So, I just arrived on The Cove and I haven't seen any materials around. Were they put away for the rain or is it just finished for now?

we built the arch and i guess the walls and path behind it. but juding from the room descriptions there's more frames that need to be built, so I guess waiting on more supplies?
Post also said this would lead to events later in the week.
