Does anyone have a chart or cheat sheet of which player stats affect which crafting skills, and how they are weighted?

Also, does it differ by discipline or are all disciplines within a skill the same?

When Crafting was first set up there were a set of GM posts that talked a bit about stats. Since the early comments about it there have been no real comments about what helps what craft. But you can use this as an example of what is going on. So i suspect if its for one thing in a craft it will be the same for the other parts of that craft too. If I remember correctly this is what it said:


Strength adds a % chance to reduce the RT by a flat amount. More strength increases this % chance. We went with a flat reduction to avoid situations where you end up at 0 RT at the extremes. More tie-ins are likely in the future, but not always with regards to round times.

Strength also factors into mining RTs in a similar manner. No waiting for 3.0 required.

Stone carving is strength and agility IIRC, and tailoring will be agility and reflex. Right now we are undecided on the other crafting skills yet.

And before I forget, stamina should become a larger component of forging (and other systems) once the 3.0 changes to fatigue are in.

Thank you Pfanston, that is very helpful indeed. It gives me motivation to train strength on my Empath.

I swore I read somewhere that Wisdom was the most impactful stat in one of them (Engineering??) but I may have been dreaming because I can't find it now.

But basically from what you say, I should generally focus on strength, agility and reflex.

I wonder though if these stats only affect roundtime, or also the quality of the final product.
