Hey Kodius,
Im having trouble with large lumber stacks. If you combine too much lumber you wind up with something that you cannot lift when you undeed it. The only way to reduce the size of the stack is to Mark it and Cut it but this doesnt work unless you are holding the lumber. Ive managed to get myself into a situation that I have a tamarak lumber stack that I can only undeed and then re-deed as I cant pick it up and cant make it smaller. I was trying to come up with potential solutions and got the following...
1. Allow Mark and Cut to work on ground lumber. I guess this runs the risk of you cutting someone elses lumber thats on the ground though.
2. Always place an item in hand (assuming an empty hand is available) when undeeded, regardless of weight. At the moment, lighter stacks go to hand but heavier stacks go to floor. Problem here is that you wind up with people undeeding boulders and carrying them around like the hulk.
3. Always place an undeeded item in the "at feet" slot (assuming it isnt already full) and then expand Mark and Cut to work on at feet items. This has the advantage of the item being in the inventory of the person and not sitting on the floor waiting to be stolen/composted/left behind, and also doesnt leave the person with a 10,000 stone item in hand.
Not sure if any of these are viable or if you already have plans around this?
Cheers,
Arv
