I hope that besides metal ores and gems, a miner might dig up such things as old artifacts, relics, and fossils depending on locations. I'm all for unearthing a glaes vein but imagine digging up a museum quality blade from the Imperial age or a petrified dragon's tooth.
After all, an archeologist is just a miner with skoolin.
