Ingredients:
2 tbs Kuzu (found in Japanese section, it's powdered root that is great for thickening gravies, desserts, etc. Strengthens intestines and soothes the stomach)
3/4 cup cold water

1 1/2 cups raisins (or any other dried fruit)
a few dashes of cinnamon
1 cup water

What to do:
Cook raisins/cinnamon in water for 15 min, then blend in a blender until smooth (or chunky if you like)

meanwhile, dissolve kuzu in cold water

Combine raisins with kuzu in pan and heat for 5 min over medium heat (the heat thickens the kuzu, otherwise it's really runny)

Voila! As it cools it'll thicken more. I've also had great success melting chocolate chips/bars (the creamier the bar the richer the pudding) instead of the fruit stuff. I even added a cup of strawberry applesauce with the chocolate and it was super tasty :)
