Where does spirit "go" after reviving? on 09/06/2010 04:20 PM CDT

I noticed that people who die and revive (through whatever means they do so) have no spirit when they get back up. Shouldn't they revive with whatever amount of spirit is left based on their depart timer?

I get that someone who just got up has no health or stamina, but don't dead bodies still have spirit, since that is what keeps them from instantly departing?

It's where your field experience went, I'd imagine. Bled off when the soul contracted to the point of greatest stability after the body fell out from under it.

I can see not being able to process anything after being dead.

I guess it's more that if spirit is in relation to time before depart, if you get revived ASAP, why do you have no spirit?

Er, what I was trying to allude to, is that the act of falling dead has already caused your soul to catastrophically bleed out spiritual energy, abandoning your recent memories (and then some) and shrinking in on itself to dedicate all the energy that remains without a body to the task of maintaining cohesion.

Like, your remaining spirit health determined how stable your resulting ghost is, but you're still already a ghost.

To simplify, if I'm understanding him right, "Just because you have a lot of spirit energy for a ghost, doesn't mean you have a lot for a living person."
