armifer i believed told us we'd learn the initial ranks in sorcery by teaching PM from someone who had a different type than our own.
Tested with Cleric and MM. Cleric taught PM to MM, MM learned lunar magic rather than sorcery.
Also, was unable to learn any ur-magic inner fire through use of barbarian abilities <roar/berserk/dancing> while fighting critters at level.
Astology <this is now a magic skill so i guess its buggy here> was unable to be learned thru predictions based on observing the moons.
It was also unable to be learned thru studying inscribed sigil scrolls.
was unable to get to bugsite <was told this was not valid site when trying to get my machine to go there>
with magic still turned off, this was all the magic i could test for now.

Oh and last one, DR at any given time has a population of weenies that will criticize at the drop of a hat, don't take things personally it happens to everyone.

IIRC, we're not testing magic at this point, we're testing circling/reqs. Why would you test something that you acknowledge is currently turned off?

What they said. I think the new skills are online, as are the current versions of the split/rewrite/combine, so you can check to make sure you're being calculated correctly to circle under the new circle requirements.
But I believe the learning of new skills is not live because they don't want use to test those yet. They only want us to test circling.

The new Barb system is now live yet, as it is waiting for some more changes to Combat. If these changes are not live I'll probably go ahead and turn them on anyways starting in May...
