I surely hope you don't think I am some sort of lackey.
I'm not. But my character happens to like Aisyn, and happens to like well.. pretty much anyone. I tease everyone though... maybe I should stop that... ponder
Nah. Wouldn't be me then.
All I can say is the following:
I am a fence sitter. I have declared it. Loudly. Although, I really think of it as undecisive, I've moved simply to the belief that I don't want any of my guildmates to die, period. I've not been persecuted for this view yet...
Anyway. I hope my teasing hasn't brought up any misconceptions about taking sides on any kind of virulent issues of character dislike and like. If Ysselt doesn't like you by now, you should know that. And the only bard she's really taken a dislike to is Kaedan based on his opinions for this guild event (and for a blatant OOC referral telling me to Go Reroll, which I thought was quite uncalled for and rude, tho thats beyond the issue). But I don't hate Kaedan's player, why should I?
So call me a fence sitter, an Aisyn-friend, Aisyn-nonfriend, dorknut, freeky lady, cheesewad. Whatever.
The only thing I find even remotely distasteful is the lack of sharing information on the bard event on the boards, an OOC venue. Secret mailing groups and furitive whispers don't sit well with me. Uh so that's my complaint.
Anyway. Love you all... mostly.

Ok, I'm not getting into the conflict here, other than to say that a bunch of people apparently acted like idiots, with so much going on, I'm not really surprised. Let it go, there are three distinct camps in this saga - and we aren't all going to agree, or be polite to each other.

Ok, first the mailing group is NOT secret, or even private. And so far ALL the info on that board has been shared on the DR boards as well - most of us have been making sure of that. Furtive whispering is ridiculous - many of us that seem to get involved have been doing our best to keep everyone informed, I tend to get people up to speed at least 2-3 times a day when online (Bards and non-Bards alike)

The events folder has been the center of info right from the beginning and I know one of my goals was to get as many Bards into this as possible, otherwise we aren't going to solve much. When not online, I really don't care what camp you are sitting in, if you have something thoughtful and interesting to say, I'm going to be thrilled to listen to it. I'm happy that so many others have felt the same way.
I do understand disliking a character, but I thought it a bit much to actually list someone's faults here (character's faults I mean) Do it in-game, but as this is an OOC forum, it doesn't seem fair to malign a player like that. I realize you mean just the character, but how do the think the person playing that character felt reading that? I know I would have been peeved to no end. Also, sign your posts if you want to be taken seriously with stuff like that, whether it be a pseudonym, character name, real name whatever....to smack someone around verbally like that and not even post some sort of name seems a bit cowardly.
Conflict is great, and I am loving this whole event, and my rebellious role in it. My opinions and actions in the game of course do not roll over to how I feel about playing a Bard and the Bard guild here, I <3 all of you <g> but right now I'm an angered, cranky, treasonous anti-guild rogue Bard and not ashamed to say it. Let's just not get too crazy about all of this outside the game.

This is not a flame or a derogatory comment in any way, but:
>Ok, first the mailing group is NOT secret, or even private.
This thread is the first that I have heard of it, so I do think that the point the original poster was trying to make is valid. Whether or not anything more is being shed there is another issue, but I know that I was under the impression that the boards have been used (and used well) to keep all bards informed. To find out that there is indeed a mail group is a bit of a disappointment.

I don't think it should be necessary to annouce to the world (of DR, anyway) who ANY of my characters are. Too many people have taken ooc stuff from the boards into the game and made trouble with me before. If you know who I play, fine, but I don't think it's necessary to post my characters name. Those involved most likely know who the character is. (Aisyn's player clearly did.) Those who aren't involved don't really need to know. ::shrug::
~Gwen, to appease. And don't call me a coward again. ::grumbles and goes to get some food::
