I could use some advice on magic training. I can't seem to get anything but TM to move. My utility, warding, debilitation, and aracana are around 1k augmentation is 1200 attunement and holy magic are 1300
It doesn't.
Type Discern ghs and discern rezz to see how high you can cast them. Cast them at that.
While they're pulsing away, type prep bene 50, prep symb, and cast at full prep. Adjust the mana accordingly; you should be casting as high as you can with symbiosis.
Alternatively, you can just do research while doing other stuff.
Yeah, my magics aren't quite as high as yours, but I still have a bit of room left to add mana when using symbiosis.
Holy Magic: 1150 80% enthralled (32/34) Attunement: 1112 99% interested (12/34)
Arcana: 1114 14% fascinated (25/34) Targeted Magic: 744 15% clear (0/34)
Augmentation: 1033 16% rapt (30/34) Debilitation: 837 04% clear (0/34)
Utility: 1079 99% attentive (10/34) Warding: 1002 16% interested (12/34)
Sorcery: 735 65% clear (0/34) Theurgy: 1106 33% very focused (21/34)
-Bless at 15 mana, harnessing 20, charging 30 for Utility (65 total mana).
-MAF at 5, harness 20, charging 30 for Warding (55 total mana).
I have the feats to get a Discipline buff when using symbiosis which works Augment so it locks while working Utility and Warding.
My mana values keep me from ever backfiring, so could go a bit higher, I just try to avoid the nerve damage. Though it's been a while
since I upped anything, probably should look into that.
My thing with research is that it takes a while and locks you out of so much other stuff, I'd rather get my 6 magic skills moving than
research one and only do one or two other things. That said, I haven't tried researching since it was still a new thing so stuff might
have changed where it isn't so punitive to training other skills.

alternate casting MAF and SoL..prep 50, harness 25 twice, invoke symb(I use harness) cast at full prep. That works utility, augmentation, warding, Holy(PM) and attunement.
add in arcana with an orb for one of the harnessing or just prep dr, charge 20 til camb orb is full, invoke orb, invoke symb, cast.
