>I could explain, but that would ruin the joke. Go poke Momus.
In other words, you crapped your pants again and need someone to help you clean up. Go poke mommy.
Ebby Calvin LaLoosh: God, that sucker teed off on that like he knew I was gonna throw a fastball!
Crash Davis: He did know.
Ebby Calvin LaLoosh: How?
Crash Davis: I told him.

>Oh lovely, this thread has moved to the next level....bathroom humor.
My apologies for deluding you into thinking the conflict folder was anything less than contemporary literary artwork. I guess the only recourse for your exquisite sensibilities is to dress up your cats for high tea. The conversation might be dull, but at least your insipid commentary will be respected among your intellectual peers. Ta Ta.
In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.

Just to comment real quick. You all need to remember that greater skeletons flex and if Aurica or somebody high is in the area then you can count on them flexing pretty dang high. Now also remember that flex creatures are geared towards barbarians. (This is my theory) These skeletons are flexing up to a 150th barbarian's skill / stats so you are dealing with some serious MR in general. With 1000 PM and 70+ Disc/intel/charisma I still have to harness some above the min prep in order to just get a stun on them with MB depending on how they flexed. So don't be quick to say it's a cleric only issue, because every magic guild has to overcome the basic MR of the creature and when it's that high it's just going to take alot of skill or mana.

I don't remember it ever being a discussion about it being a cleric only issue- more along the lines that clerics should naturally be better at cutting through undead resistance. And I don't mean just that it should take 1 mana more for other guilds to accomplish the same thing. Our offensive magics are oriented towards combating undead and the MR contest should take that into account.

Exactly. The first thing I do when a flexable critter comes into the room is appraise it. If I don't like what I see, I get the hell out FAST because I know someone a LOT bigger than me just entered revenant zombies and any attempt I might make to kill the critter is going to end up killing me faster than you can say "Lickety split."
