Congrats, Pure! The more rooms I can sense, the more I am appreciating how powerful this ability is.

Definitely. It's awesome for finding NPCs to steal from and critters in large/maze hunting areas.

I still wish healing taught better though. I wanted to get my final empathy rank for 100th circle from healing, but the few patients that came through the crossings guildhalls were just not moving my mindstate. I feel as though so many people have mules.

Congrats, PH. :)

This, basically, and I can't imagine how much worse it gets at higher levels of skill.

I've recently been on a training-Laril kick, as she was approaching Master Healer, and it seemed like every time I parked her in a healing spot, it was absolutely full of silent possible-mules. Which is good for getting a teaching class together, but not so good for training Empathy.

I had been thinking it was just me, but it's honestly just not worth it to keep an Empath "On Duty" for experience gain purposes in most areas, whether designated "healing spots" or not. There are too many other Empaths (whether mules or no) and not enough of a consistent stream of patients.

So, yes. While perceiving health is awesome, it is, sadly, basically necessary for consistent Empathy experience gain. I actually found that she did almost as well in terms of exp gain simply by manipulating creatures and healing her hunting partner, which is nice, but healing should be feasible, too.

Yeah...unless I'm stringing failed moongate bodies back-to-back-to-back I've never had luck learning Empathy at high ranks.

Mules make me a sad panda. If and when I play an alt, I usually go to the Empath guild and stand in line like everyone else instead of having Clem heal; it just seems nicer.

It might be a bit safer if a young raccoon was dead first.
