I have a few way-too-early morning comments to make.

First and foremost, Xoine, I feel that you and I (well, you and a group of us) are at an impasse. You are asking for logical reasoning, and we feel we are providing it. Rather than discussing our reasons by picking parts that you either disagree with or that you don't understand, you simply dismiss every argument given as either faulty or just opinion.

It is clear that you believe logical arguments are made up of certain characteristics, and until the rest of us know what the heck those characteristics are, we will probably continue developing reasons and having you shoot them down.

It is frustrating for me to spend time thinking about a logical argument, developing it with all its relevant features, and presenting it, only to be told it's faulty. It's insulting, really. I'd much rather know what parts you disagree with, what parts I can clarify, or what parts I can rephrase, rather than have you just wave it away. That kind of behavior completely negates the point of having a debate about an issue.

You can play innocent all you like, but you are NOT looking for a logical reason why transference should remain unteachable. You are asking for a reason that might change your mind, and every reason that fails is thrown out the window.

Please at least attempt to open your mind to what we are saying, and if you feel something needs clarifying, or needs to be 'kneaded out' some, let us know, and I'm sure we can explain ourselves better.

But simply saying that a reason is faulty or just opinion because it fails to change your opinion is simply closed-minded, and not healthy discussion/debate practice.

Meghan

P.S. Another post about responses will follow. I just had to get this off my chest.

I had a very long and very angry post that I just deleted because I don't want this to be a conflict and that is where this is headed. At this point I am just going to agree to disagree with those of you who are against this.

I had a very long and very angry post too, but it was on another topic in another folder on another board that had nothing to do with anything important. I was going to delete it but my computer crashed before I could post it.

I can't even remember what it was about.
