I think he belongs with this chick:

Zanquin smiles sucking the lollipop, humming happily, licking up the sticky sweet juices.

Am I the only person who sees something horribly wrong in that?

They'd be Elanthia's supa couple

It took 5 Circles of play, before Awphul McNaste (pronounced Nasty) was discovered. That was a LAST name. He was forced to re-roll (lost everything, too) because of a LAST name. Awphul Doomseer flew thru the 'name checks'. We don't even NEED last names now? Gotta love such IC names as Michael, Jason, Cindi, etc. Naw...names don't count....they're really looking for keeping in Genre.

Awphul works...so does son Terrible....but McNaste doesn't? Color me blonde, I don't get it.

Awphul's sister,
Acynarian Doomseer

Some of the names that get through shock and surprise me sometimes. But it's the ones that not only get through but get to remain playing (either because they got lucky or because they made it to X circle without getting caught) are the ones that really make me pull my hair.

90% or more of the names on my list are still in game and active. While some of them are indeed just rather stupid sounding and subject to the taste and/or tolerance of the person who looks at them, some of them I just shake my head and wonder how on earth they are still around.

The name Michael has been around long enough to be considered in genre for a game taking place in a middle ages time frame.

<stares> Um. I want to know how this person got into the game and figured out the basics of playing without being able to read.. since it would be immediately clear to anyone who is literate that DR has a medieval-fantasy theme. Nowhere is it even remotely suggestive of a western.
