Unless I am misunderstanding something... I shouldn't have been able to do this.

You gesture at a sand sprite.
A wee blue-white sliver suddenly swings from orbiting around your head and zips toward a sand sprite!
It manages to get out of the way!
A wee blue-white sliver suddenly swings from orbiting around your head and zips toward a sand sprite!
The blue-white sliver lands a light hit to its back!

The blue-white sliver lands a light hit to its chest!

Like the inside of a shell, the sounds of the sea and the air move through the drafty cave and create strange, hollow echoes in the natural corridors under the cliff. Water laps in from the opening, but a thick sediment has built up from higher tides, a haphazard barrier that helps to keep the waves in check. You also see a wee blue-white sliver, a sand sprite, a cave opening, and some junk.
Obvious exits: northeast, west.

I then proceeded to store it with the rest of my fluff...

We keep killing that bug.

It keeps coming back.

At this point I'm ready to burn the entire spell down to the ground and start over.
