What are your stats now? What is "higher" circle? Do you spend a lot of time in combat? Do you notice that you have certain challenges in hitting with your weapons/TM or dodging? Do you PvP?

You have a very good balance for everything you want to do. You don't need anything. My suggestions would be intel to 60, then disc to 70 or reflex to 60. Maybe intel to 70 before going back to those.

In terms of "higher" circle end game goals, I can only speak for myself. My priorities were discipline, reflex, and agility. These are my survive and kill stats (hiding, TM/LX, and evasion/shield). I wouldn't chase them at the enormous expense of everything else, but I definitely think they are your leads.

If you want your magic to hit harder, it's discipline and agility (for now, it will be mentals in magic 3.0, but we have stat respec). I'd suggest you keep up with the training weapons plan and don't chase glass cannon status too much. One of the big advantages of MM is being able to go back and hammer combats with stats that are way over par for the hunting ground. Make use of that by throwing tdps into intel and getting better bang for your buck re: time hunting.

Particularly for post-100, I think it's important to set goals aside from circle. For Kraggur I have numerous titles that I want to pursue, mostly in the combat line (come on Tactician!), and some in the teaching/lore lines. Some of these have stat requirements that I'm using as a guide, others require the ability to hunt and thus place a focus on physical stats. That being said, I've always felt that getting everything to 30 (believe you did) you can never go wrong, then if in doubt, work discipline and either reflex or intel (depending on how much you like to hunt).

Should I adjust my stats differently for a Moonmage. I like to stay in combat ALOT. Do I need Charisma, Strength or Stamina higher?

Dierik

The clear solution would be to give thieves access to runestones, but just ones that cast compost, and they'd have to wear an orange jumpsuit and carry a pointy stick while cleaning up the area.

Respectively: no, no, and no, assuming you play like "typical" Moon Mage (never really use weapons or heavy armor, etc.).

It depends on your play style really.

Charisma is useful for PVP, as it will help you cast better debilitating spells, and resist those of others. It's particularly important in spell vs. Spirit -- it's great vs. Clerics -- but it's used in all the contests, being only slightly less important than Discipline (see the Contested Spells page on elanthipedia). It's also very useful for learning well from classes, and teaching good classes.

Strength is useful for brawling, heavy weapons, shield, climbing/swimming, mining/forging, burden, and dragging.

Stamina is useful for heavy thrown, brawling, climbing (for the fatigue), burden, and preventing vitality deaths. It's also part of the concentration calcs (Discipline being most important, followed by Stamina and Int) -- concentration is of course very useful for the Ways and for creating beacon shards.

Finally, both STR and STA help you resist Spell vs. Stamina spells (e.g., Frostbite, Heighten Pain), though there aren't too many of these.

If you don't use heavy weapons/armor, brawling, or climbing/swimming, I'd say you can keep STR/STA pretty low in comparison to the rest. I wouldn't let them fall too far behind though -- maybe 20-30 points lower, max. Charisma I would get higher if you're interested in PVP, otherwise it too can stay low.

So back reading posts Shift Moonbeam is going away, and is using the ways going to be easier, harder, or remain the same?

Thanks

If you want to PvP, the ONLY important stats are Disc > Agi > Ref > Int > wis/cha (exceptions for the first four depending on racial modifiers).

Don't listen to Aleph-one, seriously. Charisma is of such little importance, only strength and stamina are of less importance. Get stamina to 30, and strength to at least 24 then you don't have to raise them again to be a beast in PvP. As long as you keep your character free of unnecessary burden, that level of strength and stamina is enough to wear HC and carry around a few weapons.

Don't worry about your mentals too much. If you're relying on MB you're doing it wrong. All our best disablers are SvA.

Hmm, I just looked at elanthipedia and noticed that the formulas listed there (that involve charisma) are out of date. I don't know why I didn't notice that before.

Do you know what the new formulas are?
