It would be neat if those boxes that store meat for Ranger pets can also store our pet's, uh, meats, too.

More often than not, I agree. I know my Risen has trouble following me around in some areas (I think Fang Cove is one of them), and I know zombies/mudmen also sometimes have similar "no-go" zones in certain situations, like quests. I could see wanting to make some risen off of [paid] quest mobs, and that's where I could see an icebox specifically coming into play. Also wondering what the "range" for a Risen delivering something will be.
