ReplyI've noticed a lot of soul hits from first strike even after the person i'm attacking has already hit/struck me. I've noticed it from spells and actual melee/ranged attacks from the people attacking me. Also, when did Halt start giving you a soul hit when in/out of combat? Not sure if all this has been looked at already and being worked on with a new soul system. Just wanted to put it out there.
Not sure on the other points other than I haven't noticed anymore/less than 2.0.

This one has been around for a while (year or so). There should be a GM announcement in the GM folder which will give you the exact date. It changed when Halt became flagged as an offensive spell.

Penalty reduced.
That is about all I know on the first strike issue. I haven't noticed anything different in 3.0, but frankly nowadays I assume my soul is going to be tanked after I get into a real fight anyway.
