Any chance we can get the half strength ranged buff from pre-3.0 back in RW or a new spell? I think we could only use it with thrown weapons and crossbows, but my memory fails me. It seems most guilds kept stuff they had in 2.0, even if it was modified to fit new DR protocols and themes (e.g., air bubble and rising mists still exist), but we lost this altogether.

I'd suggest a 1 slot metaspell of Righteous Wrath to boost ranged weapons. I say 1 slot since the pattern seems to be 1 slot for ranged boosters (See the Wind, Tailwind), and 2 slots for melee boosters (RW, Oath of the Firstborn, Mantle of Flame). We could call it Subsuming Wrath. Because of our spheres of influence, the max boost would be only 15% for most ranged weapons, but 20% for heavy thrown, at least.

Hmm. That reminds me of something I should pull into the Magic 3.2 release. ::makes note::

As for the topic at hand - Is a ranged weapon booster out of line for Paladins? Potentially not, though I'd like to do something more interesting with it than copy See The Wind and I don't see it remerging into RW. We've been splitting ranged/melee just to diversify our buffs and avoid overloading specific spells.

I'd love to have a ranged buff in any form. We don't have much debilitation to get around not having one a lot of the time. Sometimes it's fine, but when I decide to fight something at level the misses can get frustrating.

Thanks a million for all your work, by the way. Really excited for 3.2.
