I was hunting DS for a little bit and used my holy weapon because it's basically perma-blessed. Just to have fun I "slam'd" and the pommel passed thru it. I then tried to have it blessed. Is this intentional that only the blade is blessed?

The grey death spirit twitches violently, then ceases movement.
