I have one of those crescent shaped tower shields and finding something a little odd...

now the tower shield apps a high hindrance I have 157 ranks in shield

Im unhindered in my HP only (gauntlets helm armor)

When holding my shield in my left hand I get mod hindrance

Now when my barbarian friend appraises his hindrance with it he gets fairly hindered...

we have just about the same armor and shield ranks (maybe 5-6 ranks difference) and he is wearing several different types of armor so is suffering from a mutli armor penalty.

so... why do I have more hindrance?
