After reading that shields is one of our fortes... I came up with these...

Razor edged small shield-The edges of this shield are sharpened and can be used for attacks and in a crunch can be thrown as HT (Small chance of hitting yourself with this shield).

Lock Shield-This shield has a barbed spike in the center. Paladin would slam his/her shield into opponents shield, or even the opponent. Then the paladin would use his shield hand to trigger the spike, which would release it and a spring at its base would imbed it into the opponents shield or the opponent. Spike can be broken.

Banded Shield-The main difference between this and any existing in the game. This one is easier to repair (player repairable), by simply detaching the damaged band, repairing the underlying section, and placing a new band on it.

I have a shield tactic called lemme forge em already. I want a kertig shield with a nice glaes spike in the middle. <hums>
