Last month I started planning a River Clan Hosted Elven Gathering, in the tradition of the "Fall Festival". Due to the up coming game wide festival, and various other things needed to be in place, this Gathering is something that will happen in early Feb.2010 (hopefully at the beginning of the next fall season in game). Please forgive the delay if you are interested in attending.
I am still seeking people to present histories, stories, and performances about the elven people, and the elven clans. In addition to performers I am looking for elven cleric to perform the opening benediction, as well as couples looking to participate in a traditional River Clan wedding ritual.
You do not need to be an elf to participate or attend the gathering, so if you feel you have something to offer to the gathering please do not hesitate to contact me at Empathfrandr AIM.

Hi,
So as most that read the boards probably have discovered, Francelia's Grandmother Mivoring has graced Fran with a grand gift. Francelia is going to be hosting a gathering dedicated to elves. I know there are some who have grand ideas about what the elf clans should be like, who love the lore surrounding the elves, and who are experts on the elves. PLEASE if you are any of these sorts, consider becoming involved with this event, so we can make it fantastic for all.
I have a check list of things the wedding package provides, and I have some ideas about what and how I would like things to go, but truthfully I have never planned a text event before. Gala for museums, and parties at cassinos yes, a text event... kind of scares the beejeebees out of me.
In keeping with the traditions of the River Clan I would like to end this party with the tradition River Clan wedding ceremony, but Fran isn't going to be getting married, so here is the offer of the century. If you alway wanted a assisted wedding but couldn't pull if off, if you are an elven couple, and would like the bonded rings, but don't mind not actually having control over the rest of the event, and wouldn't mind getting married in the tradition River Clan fashion, which is described in the elven wedding book found in game and on elanthipedia, let me know so I can get the ball rolling. You will be sort of the stars of the show.
Any on who might want to pass along other elf clan traditions, either by song, story or reading, please please consider joining in.

No problem Fran! I've worked with a LOT of people doing wedding packages and done a few myself. So on top of helping with the Elf stuff, I think I might be able to help you get a lot of that stuff organized and set up in a spread sheet as well. I'll send you a message this morning to get the ball rolling.
