Hi there,
I absolutely love the idea of ranger caches. Is it possible to add one on Hara'Jaal and M'riss? Two ranger populated isles, nice place to have fletching supplies and hard to find herbs.
Thanks!

Ranger Cache is Neutral? on 01/31/2007 10:19 AM CST
This just did not seem right...
[Stormfells, A Shrouded Grotto] (Ranger Cache)
Thin light filters in from the narrow entrance and highlights jagged edges of stone lining the walls of this hidden recess in the mountainside. Spider webs stretched between small spires of broken rock glisten like gossamer threads of silk and dripping water echoes musically through the cave. You also see a wide crevice.
Obvious exits: none.

You pace back and forth.

Hey there,
I'll talk to the correct people about this room. However, I'm not going to be changing each and every room that you guys find that you think is set up wrong. This would take up my time for the entire year, to go through and re-evaluate each room in the entire game. I think I have better things to code, and I don't think you want me to do that. This was a release you guys were asking for, so we gave it to you. If my memory serves correctly, this might have been the reason it was never done in the past, by Jent and others.
Enjoy the release.
Cheers,
BrewMaster Paklin

Ranger Caches + Weather + Wards on 11/12/2007 12:20 PM CST
Oh Great and Powerful Ranger Gurus! Hear my Plea!
Bring for the knowledge, send it to me!
Answer these questions with your honesty and divine wit!
Even if to say you don't give a...spit!
You sense a slight loss of your inner-self!
Given the recent debate about Rangers and the weather got me thinking about other options to take cover in when the clouds go dark...one of which was the Ranger caches...one pretty major problem though:

(1) Since this is a Ranger-only area, is there a particular reason as to why it is considered neutral and not ranger-oriented? If so, what is that reason, and can it please be changed? (I'm not sure about the other caches)
(2) Another issue, since this does have the potential to be a great place for Rangers to weather it out, can we have wards removed to make it a more appealing site? I can see the wards being a preventative measure against scripting, and yes, removing such wards makes it easier for people to script in seclusion (though maybe that's not why they're there), but honestly, if someone is going to script, they're inevitably going to find some other secluded place to do it.
Thanks for you time!
