I've never had a wolf before, only once had I raccoon a couple years back. I've since started a new ranger and I'm getting close to getting my coon again and my question is this:

When you need to feed or pet your raccoon, why can't you type PET MY RACCOON instead of PET RACCOON or PET SIXTH RACCOON? Why can't it be made so when you use MY in the syntax it will default to your raccoon? Way back when I had a raccoon there were times when other rangers had their coons in the same room and it got insane trying to figure out which coon was mine.

We are definitely aware that companions need a lot of work.

We do appreciate the suggestions, and are keeping track of your ideas for consideration in the finished system.

Thanks!

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Most likely because MY defaults to an object on your person. You can probably PET MY RACCOON when you are carrying it. However it raccoons had characteristics, you'd be able to PET FAT RACOON, or UGLY RACCOON. PET GREY WOLF. I'd like to see variation like this.

I still think MY should be implemented if possible. Even with characteristics it would/could still be a pain in the butt.

I remember this guys name started with MY and he'd always end up getting touched when there were a buncha companions around. That was fun!
