Kris? Web? Healing abities? i mean it wouldnt surprise me...when magic 2.0 came out the only guild that didnt get nerfed was the WM guild....They actually got extremly more powerful...and dont deny it look at Fire shard? Chain lighting now? or any spell...you show me a WM spell that isnt like 1 hit kill almost and ill be impressed but anywaze back to stealth....all i got to say is...if you havent herd about the strike...find out

Logical flow is good. Please take your toys and go home. Just because you can't figure out how to use your character like the last owner doesn't mean warrior mages are overpowered. I want you to type dance dragon, and then don't expect to win a tourney against 80th circle WM. Oh yeah I was talking about logical flow. ::smirks::

It's called Ethereal Pathway, and it ONLY pertains to TM. The abilities are increased damage, shorter targetting time, higher accuracy, less interferance from MR, less spell difficulty, and a couple others that I don't remember at the time. Our only other ability is familiars, and they do help with spellcasting, but I'm not sure as to the degree. I do know that they definitly aren't much of a combat ability. So you can think of this as our first combat ability, of which we have had none previous. Now does that sound imbalanced to you, considering we are the masters of targetted magic?

I'm just gonna say this to fuel the flame. Actually we already have Mantle of Flame, an anti-web spell, Risisng mists to help with stealth and are currently trying to get the Cauterize spell back on the planned list. So, yeah.

This would be because our spells were practically useless(other wms' opinion, not mine) before magic 2.0. We had been ignored for 4 or 5 years(I think) previous to this, with a few GMs on the team, none of which stayed long enough to do anything.

Against what? Something my level? When I use half my attunement and it takes me two minutes to get it back, I kind of expect it to kill a single creature. Which isn't much relief since there's frequently at least one more I need to take care of.
More specifically, Fire Shard requires 100 PM to get 2 shards at the most mana they can put into it, and even then it's random. 200 PM to get 3 shards at 30 mana. Which I can do, but it's rather random and I almost NEVER get a 1 hit kill with it, even when 3 shards do pop out.
For chain lightning, that thing has a really high prep so you can't even cast it in some rooms.

i dont even know how to respond to that one....considerin before magic 2.0 came out you still had Ala Vertigo Lighting IP which is still as lame as ever aether lance which destroyed armor um what else was there PW still knocked people down SW YS SUF RM TW....and Wms complain about dragon dance....kinda sad when i go to the WM guild and 70+ Wms wont spar me unless i dont dance...."You cant dance dragon but im gonna put up all my spells and still get all my offesive spells ok its fair that way" buncha babies

While that is extremely true about warmies, you will also find that most Barbs who get beat by anyone else, will instantly come out with "Well I wasnt dancing, I would have beat you if I was".
All guilds have their specialties, if your stupid enough not to use them, you deserve to lose. If your stupid enough to fight people who expect you not to use your abilities while they use theirs, then expect to lose.
Use what you got, if ya still lose, you cant blame anyone but yourself.

Let's go one by one here. ALA was one of the two spells that came out towards the end of the period of neglect, I believe during Hyram's brief Reign. Vertigo, I believe came out roughly at the same time. Both were downtweaked in magic 2.0, from what I've read. I dont' have either. Aether Lance lost it's armor destroying ability long ago. PW does not deal much damage, it's main purpose is the knockdown effect. The rest you haven't even supplied arguments for/against. But I've already gone through YS with the paladins, I don't feel like discussing it with even less informed people.

Wierd. Thanks to magic v2.1 I actually learn PM for using my spells and cambrinth, my spells work so I use them rather than just occasionally train magic, and have adopted magic as a regular part of my routine rather than just an add-on.
