Probably because most of the player base are put off by the forum's intuitive and easy to navigate layout. Chicago is a bit out of my way for a drink.

It can be even harder when one sees how fast things escalate to conflicts or degenerate into belittling someone who asks a question or expresses an unpopular opinion.
Keeping the folders respectful and informative could bring more people to them. These should be great resources for all manner or game areas, from verbs to RP.

If SIMU gets people coming back into the game I hope we do not put them off or scared them away by the way we address their postings.

You're in Chicago? I keep finding out about people with similar internet interests years after I move away from my home town. Having moved off now three separate occasions not counting the first time I left for undergrad, it's always a bummer to hear!

My parents live in Lincoln Park, and I used to drink at the Red Lion, and shifted over to Galway Arms.

I miss Chicago. :( I grew up in Riverdale and haven't been back in like 15 years.
