There should be a <birthday> command so others can see whose birthday is today. Have it output like the <who> verb.

Well, I was sure 30 was the end of the world, but I was wrong, turns out it isn't bad after a while; and I was also sure 40 was going to be the worst thing evar, but I was wrong, turns out isn't that bad.
But 50? I'm going to slice my wrinkly face off at 50 - and throw the quivering bloody pieces at a 40 year old.

I was always curious on what demographics were playing this game. I kind of figured a lot of late 20's to early 40's people that have been playing for many years. I'm 33 myself and been playing on and off since I was 16 or 17 I think. Makes me think back to where my original Paladin Druiden on AOL would be if I had stuck to one character for that whole time hah.

I am 32. I first played DragonRealms when it was free to AOL subscribers, probably not much before December 1996 when AOL began offering flat monthly rates (as opposed to hourly rates). I wasn't playing during the Web migration in mid-1997, so I would have been 15 at the time. My original character was a Paladin, because it was (and still is) my favorite class to play. I had a Crossing two-handed sword, which I thought was awesome at the time, and hunted musk hogs.
I rolled Isharon, an Elven Paladin, in December 2004 and have been playing continually since then.
