Bring back the NTR Bandits.
Please bring these back.
Give them a script that will interact with the player.
Give the player several options like: give coin demanded, attempt to kill bandit, or run.
Base there skill off the person they ambush.

As regards this discussion, PCs don't count. Not even Ragran. The only bandit NPCs I've ever heard of are currently out of commission and nowhere near the NTR (forest bandits, which aren't even ON a trade road, just neatly penned up in some minor grove of a forest to the SE of Ilaya Taipa).

I remember them being around about 10 or so years ago. They would only strike at night and when you were alone. It was more of a instant robbery. Sorta like a debt collector at the bank. But they wouldn't totally clean you out.

I've been great! It's great to hear from you man. Lurking is actually the perfect description for me here. I've kept up my premium subscription all this time but haven't really been consistently active for more than a month or so of dabbling here and there in years.
I think Cemm has been sleeping in his wife's tower home for like 30 or so Elanthian years? I log him in every once in a while, peek around, yawn and pet the dog and then log out again. Heh.
Drop me a line at cemm@play.net if you get a chance to let me know when you'll be around. It'd be fun to drag him out, though I never did re-choose any of his warrior mage spells after they wiped them for a magic rewrite or something a few years back.
