Not new to backstabbing, but have created a new thief. Is there a way to get the first ranks of backstabbing rolling up? With 2 ranks, louts out the east gate aren't working well.

Not sure what you're doing to train, but I got up to about 15 ranks in rats before moving to goblins. All I did was hide and attack chest repeatedly. Trained backstabbing and hiding great, but didn't train the weapon very well. I went from 0 to 6 in ME in the same time I went from 2-15 in backstab.

always has trained it.

with the new ambush mechanics in which you don't need to type the ambush command just attack from hiding, to train backstab you must attack a specific body part.
