how do you gain 5 ranks with only 27 runs? that'll gain you around 2 ranks at best, assuming you mind lock and wait for clear afterwards.

okay i moved cities as i am a traveling locksmith and noticed in my runs that in 2 weeks i gained 12 ranks in stealing but::::big but here:::: i noticed that i have been getting small walls every 4 ranks anyone else notice this?

I notice wall ranks, oh, every rank ... (smirk) ... Smegul made some sortta calculator to so you can find out what rank(s) are wall ranks based on like your Guild and Wisdom or something like that. I looked at it once, but never really concerned myself with wall ranks. Th way I see it, you are gonna have em, and caint do nuttin about em - so you'll get that rank when it comes time.
