Like between 30 seconds and a minute after this without stealing again I went up to learning...why did it take time to go from clear to learning after I stole?

I wasn't stealing from the same person. I stole from one person while sleeping then awoke and stole from the other. At first stealing stayed at clear but like 30 seconds later it went to learning without me stealing from another person. Why did it take 30 seconds after the attempt to go from clear to learning?

Doesn't stealing and stalking work differently from trading though? With trading (from contracts and gem pouches at least), you get some exp right away, then more exp ~3 minutes later, more exp ~6 minutes later, etc.

I thought stealing and stalking (and appraisal too) were more like, zero exp right away, then you get all the exp X seconds later?

I just wanted to let you know, that advice is an absolute godsend. Once I wrote a script for it and figured out how long the timer was(with a lil help from a friend), I gained 30 ranks stealing in 10 days.

No, its not like its difficult to figure out and I believe there is a specific place for scripts.

Ive never scripted anything. Stealing is easy enough to learn anyways. I gained enough of it years ago anyways when I needed it to circle.
