Considering the fact that everyone appears to be able to use this unknown new system, we will have that AND Mark All which will mean we have twice the means to learn perception in combat of other guilds. That still sounds like quite nice little thief guild bonus to me. I could be wrong, however.

I'm not so sure that Z's going to allow us mark all (100%) + this other ability (%100) for double the experience. Even %125 is good and %150 is still woohoo-ish, though.

I think you are assuming both systems are going to be used in ways that are mutually exclusive. Z already stated that both methods will be available to thieves, so I am confident we will still have the combat perception edge over non-survivalists.

Well, to me, mark all is not much of a bonus to perception as is. I use it all the time while I am dancing, and never see perception above learning/thoughtful. I guess it is a SLIGHT bonus to atlease have it moving while in combat, but mark all isn't gonna make or break someone. I almost even removed it from my routine since it barely does anything..
