I was going through the posts and I may have missed a relevent post on whether I can stable my yak with crates or not and if possible, how.

I had an urgent matter to deal with (...okay, I really HAD to go watch American Idol with my family! ::grin:) right in the middle of my character's trading run and had 2 crates on the yak. I couldn't figure out how to stable Daisy.

My trader went to the stable by the manure place in Crossing (Thanks for the list! It was a lifesaver after I forgot to return the mule when I was done trading a few days ago.). I couldn't find any sign of a sign (no pun intended) and when I tried to stable yak, it was "Stable what?".

So, is it possible to stable the yak?

Yes, as I mentioned in my post, I saw that list and used it. :) I went to the Haldofurd's Barn, the one by the manure. It doesn't tell me WHAT the syntax is though or if there's a hint for that.

I saw Brynnhilde's post that there should be a sign up there somewhere to show how to stable the yak/caravan. But... there was no sign.

Basically, my question is, is "stable yak" the right syntax? (I got the messaging: stable what?)I tried return yak (but that was only for getting the yak back from the stables)

I'm lousy at syntax games so a prod in the right direction would be ever so appreciated just so I know I'm not going crazy.

Thanks!

for crossing it is
"pay 400"

at places you dont know the fee just type "pay 1" and the stablehand will tell you how much it is then "pay XXX"

>pay

The cost for stabling in Langenfirth is 120 Lirums for a pack animal and 240 Lirums for a caravan. To stable PAY (correct amount).

That was easy. ::slap forehead:: Always trying all the syntax versions but the most obvious. Gah!

Thanks so much, Gossford. It's much appreciated.
