from the description of BG in spellbooks, usually says like Stone strike does impact and puncture

For Bluf Gar:

This spell does bg and cold damage.

I'm guessing the BG could mean it varies by the motion? or could be a typo

It DOES vary by motion (point = puncture, wave = slice, slap = impact) but I would guess that breaks the discern messaging.
