I'm trying to catch all of my combats up to my TM. I've been spending my time in morah vines and creepers, but I'm not learning any weapons, parry or evasion. Armor, shield and multi-opponent are still mind-locking extremely quickly though, so I'm torn. Any suggestions?

TM: 156

Shield: 121
LC: 111
HC: 149
MO: 133
Parry: 138
Evasion: 123

ME: 134
HB: 99
Longbow: 92

Strength: 25
Agility: 26
Reflex: 26

Thanks,
Golgol

Milk the defenses for as long as you can. They suck to train when you can't find really swarmy natural critters.

I'm a little surprised that you can easily work armor/MO (149 and 133) but not parry or weapon (138 and 134).

Your skills aren't that imbalanced, you should be able to find a critter that teaches everything from shield to TM. Have you tried Ratha swains? You can disarm them to make them less lethal and use debuffs like SD to work your non-primary weapons.

Like Rigek said, milk the defenses. And you can pop up to marauders for evasion. Or with a bit of caution, you can try Lang peccs. But don't stick around for the fendryads or the mace trolls.

Some creatures capped sooner for weapons then they do for defenses. So it is entirely possible to not learn weapons and continue learning defenses even when the latter is higher.

That is all!

You're about PERFECT for vykathi harvesters in the Hive. Maybe a tiny smidge more evasion, but I bet you'd live.

I'd also consider kra'hei hatchlings in Ratha. I think they teach to about 180-ish. The only issue is that they don't really swarm much, especially if no one else is in the sewers.

As you get bigger the gap between your TM and defencive skills can widen a bit as well. At your level you can allow your TM to outpace your combats safely by about 50 ranks. When you are able to cap SW and SUF you can keep the gap at 70 to 100 ranks between your TM and primary defence and still be comfortable hunting at level. Provided you kept your Multi up with rest of defences never pays to let that one slide too far even with the use of spells such as SD and Frost.
