I've been playing a commoner for a couple of weeks now. I just wanted to roleplay, but is there anyother benefit to being a commoner? Is there a special clan or order that supports commoners or something? Just thought I'd ask.

A couple of commoner orders have been started, but little has been heard from them lately. Commoners don't really get any special abilities- except for one. They can join any guild they wish to later on without losing skills. Most of us who play commoners do so for RP reasons. If we really wanted special abilities such as magic or roars or anything else similar we would choose the guild with the abiity closest to what we want.

There will be more of a place for commoners when Careers get in place.
And I don't mean just Alchemy, which they are starting off with.
When we have a bunch of them in the game...Brewing, Baking, Farming..etc.. then I really think you're going to see the role of true commoners flourishing.
It won't just be "Guild" or "Not Guild" any more,...commoners will have something to throw themselves into as well.
