Well, since it was a stun... I guess, not so much 'action', really. :)

So you know that feeling you get, when all of your massies are falling off, so you're heading back, and the room you walk through some creature does a Disjunction and strips off a hundred-plus points of defense and then something whacks on you?
Yeah, it was like that.
A lesser orc can hit me, even when I'm in Defensive. Fortunately, they have cudgels...
...until one of them picks up a flail from a dead goblin.
PLAM! Five round stun. Cue the funereal music, start writing the obituary.

Apparently, though, orcs are only allowed ONE good swing at any given time, because the follow-up (with me still in the stun), was only 20-some points and a minor arm wound.
Then the whole 'stance def' 'south' repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat repeat started to get through.

Time to buy more herbs!

CLACK the Bone Golem cracks it's tail....
And you fall over. For 20 seconds. And you realize you forgot to grab your damned runestaff from your vest!

Been there! (Not HC, but yeah.) Back when Krakii still swung a weapon, she walked in on a room of 3 warfarers, one of whom knocked her over with EWave. (When it was still 20s, guaranteed.)
And then all three of them proceeded to do nothing but stand there and cast a) more EWaves or b) fog.
So when the RT wore off, she stood up, pulled out the claidhmore, and pasted them into the next week.

That kind of "pinned down and nowhere to go" sure does raise the blood pressure, doesn't it? :)
