An amusing example of UAC and the effect of stance; clearly stance is more important than relative levels or UAF vs UDF.

Me @ level 100 vs rolton ... I'm in defensive stance.

>pun
You attempt to punch a rolton!
You have decent positioning against a rolton.
UAF: 557 vs UDF: 58 = 2.000 (capped) * MM: 16 + d100: 40 = 72
A close miss!
Roundtime: 3 sec.
>kick
You attempt to kick a rolton!
You have decent positioning against a rolton.
UAF: 557 vs UDF: 58 = 2.000 (capped) * MM: 1 + d100: 57 = 59
A close miss!
Roundtime: 4 sec.
R>'heeeh
You say, "Heeeh."
R>stance off
You are now in an offensive stance.

You have good positioning against a rolton.
UAF: 557 vs UDF: 57 = 2.000 (capped) * MM: 106 + d100: 51 = 263
... and hit for 86 points of damage!
Sudden impact to chest! That'll make her day!
The rolton collapses to the ground, emits a final bleat, and dies.

Necrotic energy from your leather handwraps overflows into you!

You feel energized!
Roundtime: 3 sec.

"So, what does that green line on the graph represent?"
"Oh, that's the projection of a hypothetical offspring from a union between Sauron and Cruella de Ville;
we use that as a baseline for determining evil character alignment."

Stance in UAC drops MM from a base of 100 to a base of 0, while it only drops AS by 50%. You'd have no trouble wiping that rolton if you swung an open hand at it in defensive, but UAC attacks are reduced a lot more.
