I think that's the result of too many actions involving knocking, unlocking, opening and closing the doors, and going in and out of your premium home. Too much in a short span overloads the Commodore 64 that the premium housing system runs on.
At least, that's what's done it when I've gotten those messages and forced RT.

it's about the fifth time it's happened to me since I got a premium home so ENCELADAN's comments would make some sort of sense. It's happened going out of my home to the bank; Out of my home to the warrior's guild; etc etc etc. Usually it happens when i've gone in and out of my home more than once in the space of 30 seconds.
